WELCOME TO MY PRIVATE PRACTICE

Therapy should be an adventure, an exploration into who you are, what has shaped you, and what you want your life, relationships, and self to be. I would be honored to be your guide and companion on this journey, but know that every step of the way you will decide which way to turn.

Individual therapy offers a rare opportunity for you to share your feelings, hopes, fears, and questions in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I have experience working with people who bring to the work a multitude of life experiences, racial, religious, ethnic, professional, and financial backgrounds, and varied identifications in terms of sexual orientation and gender identity. 

My goal is to help you achieve your goals, whether relating to relationships, your professional life, your health, parenting, navigating a difficult time in your life, or simply dealing with the feeling that something isn’t quite right.  Together, we will identify the patterns, underlying beliefs, and fears that are getting in your way.

I utilize several different modalities; psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based technics are the few that work into the brew most frequently. My approach is goal-oriented but nurturing. I want you to get where you want to be as quickly as you can, and will push you gently in that direction with compassion, encouragement, and belief in you.

The most important part of the process is the relationship forged between client and therapist.  If, after meeting for the first time, you do not feel that we are a fit, there is no charge for the session.
